These Terms of Service govern your use of Fæbrik-appen, our website located at https://faebrik.app, and any related services provided by Fæbtek AS.
When you use Fæbrik-appen, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, you are prohibited from further using the app, accessing our website, or using any other services provided by Fæbtek AS.
If you access or download Fæbrik-appen from (1) the Apple App Store, you agree to any Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms of Service; and/or (2) the Google Play Store, you agree to the Android, Google Inc. Terms and Conditions including the Google Apps Terms of Service.
We, Fæbtek AS, reserve the right to review and amend any of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page and notify you through the app and/or the email address you provided when you created your account. Any changes to these Terms of Service will take effect immediately from the date of publication.
These Terms of Service were last updated on 28 November 2025.
Access to all content of the Fæbrik app requires an active membership to Fæbklubb, which is offered as a recurring subscription, processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Fæbtek AS to charge your selected payment method through Stripe on a recurring basis. Your membership will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you have canceled it prior to renewal. We will notify you via email at least 3 days before your subscription renewal.
You may have the right to withdraw from your subscription within a certain period from the initial purchase, depending on applicable laws in your jurisdiction (for example, 14 days in Norway and the EU). Please note that by accessing digital content during this withdrawal period, you explicitly consent to waive this right where permitted by law.
Fæbtek AS offers coupons that can be purchased on our website and redeemed for custom-tailored clothing patterns created in the Fæbrik app. These coupons are digital vouchers that grant you access to download one tailored pattern file.
Each coupon is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Coupons must be redeemed within this validity period. After expiration, coupons are forfeited and cannot be used, refunded, or exchanged. If you believe you have exceptional circumstances, you may contact our support team, but we are under no obligation to extend expired coupons.
Coupons are non-transferable and are tied to the account of the purchaser. You may not gift, sell, or transfer coupons to another person. Each coupon can only be redeemed once.
You have the right to withdraw from your coupon purchase within 14 days of purchase in accordance with Norwegian consumer law (angrerettloven), provided the coupon has not yet been redeemed. Once a coupon is redeemed and the pattern download process has begun, the coupon is considered used and no refund will be issued.
When you redeem a coupon, your custom-tailored clothing pattern will be delivered as a digital file in the app.
If you do not receive your pattern file within 48 hours of redemption, please contact our support team immediately. We cannot guarantee re-delivery if you report a missing file after more than 14 days have passed.
By redeeming a coupon and initiating the pattern generation, you explicitly consent to immediate delivery of this digital content and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day withdrawal right in accordance with Norwegian consumer law (angrerettloven § 22 bokstav n). This consent is required before the pattern is delivered.
Patterns are delivered as PDF files. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary software and equipment to open, view, and print the pattern files. We recommend reviewing the technical requirements before purchasing a coupon.
The patterns and all associated files are protected by intellectual property rights owned by Fæbtek AS. By downloading a pattern, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the pattern for personal use only. You may not share, redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the pattern files in any way. For commercial use of patterns, including selling garments made from our patterns, you must contact Fæbtek AS to discuss licensing arrangements.
Patterns are non-transferable. You may not share your pattern files with others, even for personal use. A user may however purchase coupons and create tailored garment for someone else based on that person's individual measurements, as long as the garment is not part of a commercial transaction.
By becoming a user of Fæbrik-appen, you consent to receive emails to your provided email address. These emails may include purchase receipts, onboarding, renewal reminders, app updates, notifications of changes to these Terms of Service or our Privacy Policy, surveys, invitations, and requests for feedback. You may opt-out of communications by following the link in the email message or by signing in with your user on our website.
By using Fæbrik-appen and our website, you warrant on behalf of yourself, any entity who you represent who has entered into these Terms of Service, and your users that you will not:
modify, uiText, prepare derivative works of, decompile, or reverse engineer Fæbrik-appen or any materials and software contained within Fæbrik-appen or on our website;
remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from Fæbrik-appen or any materials and software contained within Fæbrik-appen or on our website;
transfer Fæbrik-appen or any of its associated materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server;
knowingly or negligently use Fæbrik-appen or any of its associated services in a way that abuses or disrupts our networks or any other service Fæbtek AS provides;
use Fæbrik-appen or its associated services to transmit or publish any harassing, indecent, obscene, fraudulent, or unlawful material;
use Fæbrik-appen or its associated services in violation of any applicable laws or regulations;
use Fæbrik-appen to send unauthorised advertising or spam;
harvest, collect, or gather user data without the user’s consent; or
use Fæbrik-appen or its associated services in such a way that may infringe the privacy, intellectual property rights, or other rights of third parties.
The intellectual property in the materials in Fæbrik-appen and on our website are owned by or licensed to Fæbtek AS. You may download Fæbrik-appen to view, use, and display the application on your mobile device for your personal use only.
This constitutes the grant of a licence, not a transfer of title. This licence shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions or these Terms of Service and may be terminated by Fæbtek AS at any time.
You give us permission to download and install updates to Fæbrik-appen on your device in accordance with your privacy preferences. This permission can be revoked at any time by deleting Fæbrik-appen from your device.
Fæbrik-appen and the materials in Fæbrik-appen and on our website are provided on an 'as is' basis. To the extent permitted by law, Fæbtek AS makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property, or other violation of rights.
Tailored clothing patterns are generated based on body measurements you provide through the Fæbrik app. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your measurements. Fæbtek AS cannot guarantee that patterns will result in a perfect fit, as fit depends on numerous factors including but not limited to: accuracy of measurement input, fabric choice and behavior, sewing technique, individual body characteristics, and personal fit preferences. We strongly recommend verifying all measurements, reviewing pattern pieces carefully, and creating a test garment before cutting your final fabric. However, if you are unsatisfied with a result, and agree to providing detailed feedback, we may offer you a new coupon, if we see that a revised tailored pattern would improve the garment. We would then require detailed feedback about the unsatisfactory garment as well as the garment based on the revised tailored pattern.
In no event shall Fæbtek AS or its suppliers be liable for any consequential loss suffered or incurred by you or any third party arising from the use or inability to use Fæbrik-appen, our website, or any other services provided by Fæbtek AS or the materials in Fæbrik-appen, even if Fæbtek AS or an authorised representative has been notified, orally or in writing, of the possibility of such damage.
In the context of this agreement, "consequential loss" includes any consequential loss, indirect loss, real or anticipated loss of profit, loss of benefit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, loss of savings, loss of reputation, loss of use and/or loss or corruption of data, whether under statute, contract, equity, tort (including negligence), indemnity or otherwise.
Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
The materials appearing in Fæbrik-appen or on our website are not comprehensive and are for general information purposes only. To the extent permitted by law, Fæbtek AS does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials in Fæbrik-appen or on our website, or otherwise relating to such materials or on any resources linked to Fæbrik-appen and our website.
Fæbtek AS has not reviewed all of the sites linked to Fæbrik-appen or on its corresponding website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, approval or control by Fæbtek AS of the site. Use of any such linked website is at your own risk and we strongly advise you make your own investigations with respect to the suitability of those sites.
To the extent that you are using or accessing Fæbrik-appen on an iOS device, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this clause. You acknowledge that these Terms of Service are between you and Fæbtek AS only, not with Apple Inc. (Apple), and Apple is not responsible for Fæbrik-appen and any materials available in Fæbrik-appen.
Apple has no obligation to furnish you with any maintenance and support services with respect to Fæbrik-appen.
If Fæbrik-appen fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the mobile application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to Fæbrik-appen and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be our responsibility.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to Fæbrik-appen or your use of Fæbrik-appen, including but not limited to (1) product liability claims; (2) any claim that our mobile application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (3) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that our mobile application infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights.
You agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms when using Fæbrik-appen, including any Usage Rules set forth in the Apple App Store Agreement of Service.
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms of Service and, upon your acceptance of these Terms of Service, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms of Service against you as a third-party beneficiary of these Terms of Service.
You hereby represent and warrant that (1) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a 'terrorist supporting' country; and (2) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
We may suspend or terminate your right to use Fæbrik-appen and these Terms of Service immediately upon written notice to you for any breach of these Terms of Service.
Any term of these Terms of Service which is wholly or partially void or unenforceable is severed to the extent that it is void or unenforceable. The validity of the remainder of these Terms of Service is not affected.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
